Market prospects for microbial-plus ecological farming and breeding look promising
Original title: "Microbial-plus" ecological breeding is in the ascendant

At the Mingyang cattle farm on the outskirts of Nanning, these unusually lively water buffalo are mostly fed corn stalks, corn cobs, corn husks, sugarcane bagasse, cassava stalks, banana stalks and similar waste that has been sprayed with probiotics and "composted until rotted".
In Matang Village, Shinan Town, Xingye County, a "microbial-plus elevated net-bed" pig farming community has been built, centrally managed by a leading enterprise, with the government giving subsidies to poor households participating in the breeding, so that farming households receive 60,000 to 70,000 yuan in cooperative dividends each year.
Zhongke Runhua Company pioneered a patented technology of adding spirulina to feed to raise silkie chickens, and promoted it to Sanjiang Dong Autonomous County, organizing farmers in poor villages to raise them free-range, and using microbially fermented chicken manure to grow tea, greatly raising both farming and planting returns.
As a major innovation by a Guangxi-based enterprise, the ecological breeding model centered on "microbial-plus" was basically finalized last year, and this year the outlook is even better, with rapid promotion; probiotics are showing great "micro" power on the three major technology platforms of manure pollution treatment, environmental treatment and feed additives, carrying out full coverage of the breeding chain from the downstream and midstream to the upstream.
In Xingye County, a visit site for the region's on-site ecological breeding promotion meeting in April, 364,000 pigs are already being fed microbially fermented feed, accounting for 56% of the county's total pig stock, of which 100% of pig farms and households whose pens have been converted to elevated net-beds have achieved "microbial-plus".
"Microbial-plus" has spread rapidly to the chicken industry, with both cage raising and free-range raising adopting it one after another. "Microbial-plus" has also extended to aquaculture; in Sanjiang and other places, microbially fermented chicken manure and the like are used to raise fish in rice paddies, with both the quantity and quality of rice and carp rising, and good returns seen in the very same year.
