E-commerce poverty alleviation: learn beekeeping, easily earn 5,000 yuan a year

On May 22, e-commerce makers in Hengfeng County, Jiangxi Province, were helping poor households hang up beehives.

Hengfeng County is deeply advancing targeted poverty alleviation. Leveraging its location in a mountainous area with abundant nectar resources, it joined forces with local e-commerce makers to make nearly 200 beehives that are uniquely shaped, attractive and eco-friendly and come with bees, distributing them free of charge to poor households. From this alone, the "beekeepers" can earn nearly 5,000 yuan a year.
