Wang Feng of Shexian, Anhui, gets rich without forgetting his fellow villagers, joining hands to walk the road to prosperity together
In Shexian, everyone knows the Tongle Ecological Agriculture Base. Its "head" Wang Feng is a new-generation farmer born in the 1980s and a member of the Huangshan branch of the China Democratic National Construction Association. Though he has only just passed 30 this year, it has already been nearly 10 years since he first came into contact with the breeding trade. Growing up in a pig farm, Wang Feng was no stranger to the breeding industry. After graduating from Nanjing Agricultural University, he went directly to Huangshan Tongle Company, starting from the most grassroots work, and soon the expertise he had learned was put to use. He realized that in the breeding industry one must persist in industrialization and large-scale operation, and take the path of ecological and environmental protection.
Today, the Huangshan Tongle Ecological Agriculture Base has grown into the only enterprise in Huangshan with a fully automated pig farm and laying hen farm, with an annual output value of more than 40 million yuan. Wang Feng has grown rich, but he has not forgotten the people of his hometown. Enthusiastic about public welfare, he invested in establishing the Tongle Breeding Science and Technology Demonstration Center, the Tongle Pig Breeding Professional Cooperative and the breeding association, driving more farmers to make the ecological breeding industry bigger and stronger. He holds and carries out technical guidance services and training on an irregular basis, effectively promoting the industrialized development of pig breeding in Shexian and the surrounding areas. Up to now, more than 600 households in the surrounding areas have been spurred into action, and nearly 2,000 people have become rich through large-scale breeding.

Wang Feng often goes deep into the chicken houses to "talk" with the chickens; modern breeding has become his whole life.
