2016 Livestock Subsidies: 200,000 yuan for 500 pigs, benefiting farmers
The livestock industry is an important part of China's industrial structure. In order to promote the development of China's livestock industry, the state formulates a series of subsidy measures every year, hoping to help China's livestock practitioners develop better.
So, what items did China have in terms of livestock subsidies in 2016? Let Pig Herder Baba explain them to you one by one!

Item one: Pig subsidies
From last spring until now, China's pork prices have remained at a relatively high level, and the shortage of live pigs has still not been made up. The excessively high pork prices have also affected people's lives to a certain extent. Therefore, in order to increase pig farmers' enthusiasm for production, in 2016 China will focus on subsidizing some standardized large-scale pig farms. The specific subsidy standards are as follows:
● For a farming scale of 500 to 999 head, the state gives a one-time subsidy of 200,000 yuan;
● For a farming scale of 1,000 to 1,999 head, the state gives a one-time subsidy of 400,000 yuan;
● For a farming scale of 2,000 to 2,999 head, the state gives a one-time subsidy of 600,000 yuan;
● For a farming scale of more than 3,000 head, the state gives a one-time subsidy of 800,000 yuan.
Item two: Dairy cow subsidies
A cup of milk every day makes Chinese people healthy. With the continuous development of Chinese society, the consumer demand for dairy products is also increasing. Under such circumstances, developing the country's dairy cow farming industry is crucial. For this reason, in 2016 China also formulated a series of subsidy measures for dairy cow farmers. The subsidy targets are mainly some standardized large-scale dairy farms. The specific subsidy standards are as follows:
● For a farming scale of 300 to 499 head, the state gives a one-time subsidy of 800,000 yuan;
● For a farming scale of 500 to 999 head, the state gives a one-time subsidy of 1.3 million yuan;
● For a farming scale of more than 1,000 head, the state gives a one-time subsidy of 1.7 million yuan.
Item three: Beef cattle subsidies
In order to adjust China's meat product consumption structure, China also has relevant subsidy measures for beef cattle farming, and compared with the requirements for dairy cows, the standards for obtaining subsidies for farming beef cattle are relatively lower. The specific subsidy standards are as follows:
● For a farming scale of 100 to 299 head, the state gives a one-time subsidy of 300,000 yuan;
● For a farming scale of more than 300 head, the state gives a one-time subsidy of 500,000 yuan.
Item four: Meat sheep subsidies
In recent years, with the continuous rise in China's economic level, the proportion of mutton consumption has also been continuously increasing. Therefore, developing meat sheep farming is also of far-reaching significance to the healthy development of China's livestock industry. For this reason, in 2016 China also formulated a series of subsidy measures for meat sheep farmers. The specific subsidy standards are as follows:
● For a farming scale of 300 to 499 head, the state gives a one-time subsidy of 150,000 yuan;
● For a farming scale of 500 to 699 head, the state gives a one-time subsidy of 250,000 yuan;
● For a farming scale of 700 to 999 head, the state gives a one-time subsidy of 350,000 yuan;
● For a farming scale of more than 1,000 head, the state gives a one-time subsidy of 500,000 yuan.
