Leading enterprises purchased high-quality strong-gluten wheat at a price 0.2-0.4 yuan per kg higher than the market price, which not only solved farmers' worries but also mobilized farmers' enthusiasm, and further solved the problem that China's hard wheat needs to be imported.
New types of operating entities such as farmers' professional cooperatives, large grain-growing households, and family farms can learn from the "Yanjin model," focus on the needs of processing enterprises, actively connect with enterprises, implement contract production and large-scale planting, and advance supply-side reform in agricultural production.
