Henan launches selection of first batch of college student innovation and entrepreneurship demonstration projects
Abstract
To further implement the "College Student Entrepreneurship Leading Plan", starting today, the Henan Provincial Department of Education is organizing the selection of the first batch of provincial-level college student innovation and entrepreneurship demonstration projects among universities across the province. Selected projects will receive support funds ranging from 100,000 to 150,000 yuan from the provincial Department of Education.
The scope of this selection includes: entrepreneurship projects established within the province by students currently enrolled in regular higher education institutions across the province or graduates still within the job-seeking period, either individually or as a team, with entrepreneurship financing needs, strong scientific and technological innovation capabilities, and good development prospects. According to the regulations, demonstration projects must comply with national industrial policies and align with the province's development and structural adjustment directions in key industrial fields such as high-end equipment manufacturing, electronic information industry, food industry, new energy industry, biomedicine industry, energy conservation and environmental protection industry, producer services, and high-efficiency agriculture, and must play a positive role in promoting the province's three major strategies and economic and social development. Demonstration projects need strong sustained innovation capabilities, outstanding highlights in technological transformation and new product development, and good prospects for product markets and benefits.
Demonstration project applications proceed through the processes of student team on-campus application, school recommendation, expert review, and project display. For outstanding college student demonstration projects selected through expert evaluation, the provincial Department of Education will provide support funds of 100,000 to 150,000 yuan per project. In addition, the provincial college student employment and entrepreneurship comprehensive service base will provide necessary supporting equipment free of charge for the first batch of college student innovation and entrepreneurship demonstration projects.
