On the morning of June 5, Li Shirong, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, conducted in-depth research in the central urban new district and Evenk Banner regarding the city's preparations for hosting the regional on-site meeting on scientific and technological innovation-driven modern agriculture and animal husbandry development and the 9th Traditional Ethnic Minority Sports Games of the Autonomous Region.
At the stadium and gymnasium in the central urban new district, Li Shirong inspected on site the venue for the opening and closing ceremonies of the Ethnic Minority Sports Games and the construction of competition venue facilities and environment, and inquired about the preparations and organization of the Ethnic Minority Sports Games. He pointed out that it is necessary to do a good job in all stages of work including venue construction, environmental improvement, and service organization, so as to provide good guarantees for the successful holding of the events. Through hosting the events, it is necessary to inherit and carry forward traditional ethnic minority sports, raise the level of national fitness, continuously improve the utilization rate and service quality of public sports venues, better serve the people and benefit the people, and provide a safe and comfortable fitness environment for the general public.
The Inner Mongolia Ethnic Sports Center currently under construction covers an area of 600,000 sq m, with a total investment of approximately 500 million yuan. It is the flagship project in the overall planning of the Horse Culture Industrial Park. The sports center has the capacity to host a series of club competitions of the Chinese Equestrian Association and to hold comprehensive sports games. Li Shirong learned about the investment and construction situation of the sports center, and required relevant departments and banners and districts to carefully formulate plans, intensify environmental improvement around the center, and build a national-level horse industry demonstration zone integrating tourism services, agricultural and animal husbandry science popularization, leisure, grassland sports, and high-end vacation.

Lvxiang Halal Meat Food Co., Ltd. has a 6,000-ton cold storage facility, a slaughtering and processing workshop with an annual processing capacity of 1 million sheep and 24,000 cattle, a workshop with an annual processing capacity of 40 tons of handmade dumplings, and a workshop with an annual processing capacity of 50 tons of braised and marinated meat products. Li Shirong walked into the enterprise's product laboratory and production and processing workshop to learn in detail about the enterprise's production, development and sales situation. He required enterprises to strengthen self-discipline, relevant departments to intensify supervision, establish a product traceability system, continuously improve enterprise visibility, and strive to create famous brand products of Hulunbuir.
Yihetala Animal Husbandry Development Co., Ltd. is an enterprise attracting investment in Evenk Banner. In 2015, the company purchased advanced equipment and established a complete and traceable quality and safety system for grazing-raised mutton, achieving full-process quality traceability management "from pasture to table." In the enterprise's product exhibition hall, Li Shirong picked up products and examined them carefully, scanned the QR code with his mobile phone, and information such as product origin, production date, and product introduction was clear at a glance. Li Shirong fully affirmed this and required the government and enterprises to work together, with the city and banner joining hands to support the enterprise in becoming bigger and stronger, and to give full play to the demonstration and leading role of leading enterprises.
Kexing Horse Industry Horse Breeding Base is a national horse industry international scientific and technological cooperation base.
