Vice Minister of Agriculture Yu Xinrong said that with the rapid development of information technology, mobile phones have increasingly become an advanced production tool that farmers cannot do without. At present, the weak links in China's economic and social informatization and information industry lie in agriculture, rural areas and farmers. Carrying out farmer mobile phone training will bring many benefits to farmers' production and life, and can also promote the transformation and upgrading of the agricultural and rural economy. It is of great significance to advancing agricultural supply-side structural reform, accelerating the realization of agricultural modernization, and building a moderately prosperous society in all respects.

It is understood that starting this year, the Ministry of Agriculture will join forces with local agricultural departments at all levels to organize relevant units and enterprises to go deep into villages and hold training classes in various forms at different levels and of different types, teaching farmers to use mobile phones face to face and hand by hand. At the same time, it will enrich online classroom content to meet farmers' personalized needs of learning whatever they want, whenever and wherever they want.
