Developing biomass power generation to help farmers increase their incomes

At present, China has this kind of situation ↓↓↓
With the increase in rural crop yields in our country, the production of straw has reached an unprecedented scale, and the handling of straw has become a major problem. The leftover straw is often simply "burned off," and large-scale straw burning has been repeatedly banned but continues nonetheless.
Causing air pollution ↓↓↓
But actually, farmer uncles, did you know? The straw you burn should not have become one of the chief culprits causing pollution. It is all a path to wealthMoney money money!
How can straw help farmer uncles get on the road to wealth?
↓↓↓
Recover straw → burn it for power generation → reuse the ash and slag → increase farmers' incomes
This is simply a sharp weapon for targeted poverty alleviationah!
This method of generating power by burning straw is called "biomass power generation"。
Biomass power generation can achieve centralized combustion of rural leftovers including straw, which is conducive to centralized treatment and can effectively address the air pollution caused by uncontrolled burning of biomass.
It also has another advantage: increasing the income of farmer uncles!
Building a 25,000-kilowatt straw power plant requires consuming more than 200,000 tons of straw each year:
If calculated at a purchase price of 200 yuan per ton of straw, it will drive farmers in the area where it is locatedannualincome increasemore than 40 million yuan, benefiting about 50,000 farming households; the ash and slag after straw combustion can also be provided to farmers as potassium fertilizer to fertilize fields, reducing farmers' cultivation costs.
At the same time, around the industrial chain of straw purchasing, storage and transportation, 1,000 jobs can be provided for the local rural area.
If biomass power generation can be promoted on a large scale in rural areas, it can not only alleviate China's air pollution, but also greatly increase farmers' incomes!
As the saying goes, "Know yourself and know your enemy, and you will never be defeated in a hundred battles." If we want to get rich through biomass power generation, we still need to first fully understand:the past and present of biomass power generation.
1
The fourth-largest energy source, keeping pace with wind energy and solar energy
Biomass energy is the world's fourth-largest energy source after coal, oil and natural gas. Direct biomass combustion power generation is an emerging power generation model standing alongside wind power and solar power.
2
Environmental protection and energy saving
Direct biomass combustion power generation has a carbon-neutral effect. According to estimates, operating a 25,000-kilowatt direct combustion power plant can save 110,000 tons of standard coal and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 220,000 tons each year compared with thermal power units of the same type.
3
Huge development potential
According to statistics, the biomass produced on Earth each year through photosynthesis is about 170 billion tons, and the energy contained in it is equivalent to 10-20 times the world's total energy consumption, but the current utilization rate is only about 3%, so the prospects for development and use are very broad.

What is the current state of biomass power generation in our country?
As of the end of 2015, China's total grid-connected installed capacity of biomass power generation was 10.31 million kilowatts, and 29 provinces (municipalities and autonomous regions) across the country had already built biomass energy power generation projects.

Speaking of agricultural and forestry residues, the five southern provinces are also a major region for agricultural and forestry production: rice, sugarcane, natural rubber... The residues of these agricultural and forestry crops can also generate power! At present, the first biomass power generation project in Hainan Province is being actively advanced for construction by China Southern Power Grid Energy Company. After the project is completed, it can save about 98,900 tons of standard coal each year.
Direct biomass combustion power generation is the main form of biomass energy use in our country. The "Twelfth Five-Year Plan for Biomass Energy Development" pointed out that China's total biomass resources usable as energy amount to about 460 million tons of standard coal each year, and the amount currently utilized is about 22 million tons of standard coal, with a utilization rate of less than 5%. This means thatbiomass power generation still has 95% room for growth!
What level will 95% room for growth develop to... too abstract!
Can you give a specific chestnut?
Based on data such as resource endowment, technological progress and development environment, Frost & Sullivan proposed the following research results for China's cumulative installed capacity of biomass power generation:
As of the end of 2015, China's cumulative designed installed capacity of biomass was 6,700 megawatts, lower than the development target set by the National Energy Administration, and accounting for less than 1% of the country's total power generation installed capacity of 1,506,700 megawatts.
In fact, in some developed countries, biomass power generation has already brought substantial profits to the country, and these countries can all serve as reference objects for the development of biomass in our country.
