On June 21, 200 mu of "grapes" introduced from the north in Daxin County, Guangxi, gradually ripened and went on the market. In order to accelerate the pace of rural poor people shaking off poverty and becoming well-off, since 2010 the county has introduced "red grapes" from Hebei, Qingdao, Zhejiang and other places for planting. Through the use of scientific management, it overcame the impact of natural conditions on "grapes," and the trial planting succeeded. At the same time, because the county's "grapes" go on the market nearly one month later than those of Yunnan Province and one month earlier than the grapes of Xing'an in Guilin in the north, they filled the gap in the "grape" market of Nanning, Qinzhou, Beihai and other cities in the region. Although the price of "grapes" is as high as about 20 yuan per kilogram, the product is still in short supply. It is expected that the county's total "grape" output this year will reach 300 tons, with a total output value of about 6 million yuan. At present, the county is guiding rural poor people in the "cooperative + base + farmer" model to vigorously develop "grape" planting, making "grapes" a "money tree" for rural poor people to achieve poverty alleviation and prosperity.
