On July 13, in Shanggang Group, Cuifang Village, Liaohepo Town, Wolong District, Nanyang City, Henan Province, villager Fan Zhongyang contracted more than 200 mu of mountain land and raised more than 7,300 barred rock chickens and green-shell laying hens, and is affectionately called a chicken-raising "doctor" by the locals. He also uses a "professional cooperative + farmers" model to raise breed chickens in ecological free-range conditions, and by using e-commerce sales channels, his eggs are sold to major cities such as Beijing, Hangzhou and Shenzhen, at 3 yuan each, generating gross profits of more than 500,000 yuan a year.

Fan Zhongyang not only earned money himself but also led villagers to raise chickens and prosper together. In February this year, he invested 500,000 yuan and registered and established the Chunqiu Ecological Breeding Farmers' Professional Cooperative, which has now developed more than 10 members. All villagers who join the cooperative are provided free of charge with chicks that have grown for 45 days and received 10 consecutive vaccinations; they only need to repay the cost of the chicks with 15 eggs after the chicks grow up and start laying, reducing the risk of villagers starting a business. At the same time, Fan Zhongyang also teaches members breed chicken breeding techniques and regularly goes to members' farms to provide free vaccinations.
