Local agricultural machinery purchase subsidy policies continue to favor deep-loosening and soil-preparation machinery, giving priority to meeting farmers' needs for purchasing high-horsepower tractors, deep loosening machines, combined soil preparation machines and other operational machinery. As of now, this year's subsidy funds used for tractors and deep loosening machinery have reached 1.92 billion yuan, with 123,000 new tractors and 3,130 deep loosening machines (sets) added.

Central government agricultural machinery purchase subsidy funds implement fixed-amount subsidies. The subsidy amount for each grade of agricultural machinery product is calculated at no more than 30% of the average sales price of products in that grade in the province over the past three years. In key schistosomiasis control areas, the calculation ratio for subsidy amounts for major crop cultivation, harvesting, plant protection and other field operation machinery shall not exceed 50%.
