While working for others, Xia Xiumei learned how to give pigs vaccinations, so she could completely handle epidemic prevention herself; moreover, she processed feed on her own, and the piglets she bred had a high survival rate and were quick to reach market weight. Over the course of a year, her income could reach more than 70,000 yuan.
