As a daughter-in-law, are you willing to go back to your mother-in-law's home in the countryside?

This kind of rural mother-in-law's home - as a daughter-in-law, I don't really want to go back every time during Chinese New Year. To be honest, I do love my husband very much, but in a place like this, I get goosebumps standing around for even a day, and I feel really uncomfortable. Look, this is the place where chickens, ducks, pigs and other poultry are raised.
This is the big basin my mother-in-law usually uses for cooking and washing vegetables. My husband is washing vegetables right now.
Even though the food she makes looks and smells decent, it's all made with animal fat, and I can't bring myself to eat a single bite, yet I have to force myself to. Otherwise, I'd starve, wouldn't I?
Even though it's the countryside, other families have buildings too. My mother-in-law's toilet is right at the foot of the building's wall, and it actually looks fancier than the living quarters. Unfortunately, it's an outdoor toilet, and I'm really afraid bugs will crawl up. I'm losing my mind.
The first time I came to my mother-in-law's home, I was scared half to death by these two chickens. My mother-in-law even said she'd kill one for me to eat, and I said no, no, it's just too terrifying.
My mother-in-law brought back so much animal fat at once, I have no idea when we'll ever finish eating it. They really love this flavor, but I'm used to soybean oil - how am I supposed to eat this food?
All right, the house looks quite artistic, backed against the foot of a mountain, with buildings in front and a few mu of vegetable plots. It really is a little hidden paradise.
