On August 10, 2016, I decided to go on a self-driving trip with my family to visit relatives and friends, and the place we went to this time was Jinshui Village.

On the way there by car, we passed through a small town. They say it is a run-down place, but I really do not think so. If anything, this is the most beautiful place I have ever seen, so neat and so orderly.

Very soon we arrived at the destination of this self-driving trip.

This place belongs to Songyuan City, Jilin Province, and is located by the stream in Jilin Province. This is also my maternal grandfather's hometown. After a two-hour drive, we arrived at a very dilapidated courtyard.

My wife was very uncomfortable here on her first visit, but my daughter found everything fresh. The pigsty here, the dog in the courtyard, and the watermelons in the fields all interested my daughter very much.

The meals on this self-driving trip were also very simple. Dinner was very simple: steamed pig blood, eight-treasure chicken, dried tofu, and fish balls.

We stayed here for one night, and the next day we planned to get some things to bring back, only to find that damn watermelons were eight fen per jin. Not only was the trunk packed full, but we also called a few buddies to drive here together to buy some. But even though my buddies and I all drove here to buy them, seeing that mountain of watermelons, still no one was interested, and all we few could do was make our own modest contribution.

After a day and a night of rest and recovery, we began the return journey of this self-driving trip.
