Suzhou people join hands on the road out of poverty toward prosperity
Dangshan County has focused on implementing targeted poverty alleviation, working hard on the word "targeted" and doing solid work on it, registering and archiving all poor households in the county, and carrying out targeted identification, targeted management and targeted assistance.
Adhering to the principle of one method for each village, with characteristic industries as the "support", targeted poverty alleviation is carried out. The county adapts measures to local conditions; towns such as Tangzhai, Geji and Chengzhuang, by developing crisp pear, nectarine, watermelon and vegetable industries, have initially achieved a development pattern of "every village has an industry, every household can prosper". By guiding farmers to transfer their land to new types of operating entities, a number of new specialized villages have emerged, such as Wenzhuang chili seed production, Houlou vegetables, Bailayuan nectarines and Wangtun watermelons.
At present, the county has obtained 32 pollution-free, green and organic agricultural product certifications from the Ministry of Agriculture of China, newly applied for 26 "Three Products and One Standard" product certifications, 2 national geographical indication certifications, 1 national geographical indication certification trademark, 1 China Well-Known Trademark, and 14 Anhui Province Famous Trademarks.
It follows the path of "leading enterprise + specialized village" characteristic agricultural clustering and industrial poverty alleviation. Relying on food processing enterprises such as Qiangying and Shengfeng, the county has driven 17 specialized villages to annually raise and slaughter 120 million meat ducks, increasing income by 270 million yuan.
More than 10 provincial and municipal leading enterprises, including Wanbei Duck Industry, Keji Food and Beijiafu Food, have established order-based cooperative relations with specialized planting and breeding villages, driving the development of 32 specialized planting and breeding villages for crisp pears, yellow peaches, asparagus and mushrooms. At present, the county has 276 agricultural and sideline product enterprises above designated size, including 187 provincial and municipal leading enterprises, giving the "leading enterprise + specialized village" poverty alleviation path an initial scale.
