Its altitude ranges from 518 to 987 m, and its forest coverage rate is 54.5%. In 2015, the village was a county-level Category II poverty-stricken village, with an annual per capita net income of 5,675 yuan. Through implementing the "five batches" project, its per capita net income is expected to approach 8,000 yuan in 2016.

It promoted village-wide land transfer of land under the village's jurisdiction and delivered it to the "farm" as the operating entity, planning and developing industries in an orderly manner according to the direction of modern agricultural park development. In light of actual conditions, the whole village defined the industrial layout of "aquatic fisheries at the foot of the mountains, premium fruit on the mountainsides, and forestry, economic, and ecological animal husbandry on the mountain slopes," achieving increased incomes and prosperity for the people.
