In order to improve women's ability to increase income and become prosperous, recently, the Women's Federation of Mashan County organized more than 50 capable businesswomen from the county to visit Linxu Town to inspect and learn about the development of locust and bamboo rat farming, broaden their horizons, draw on experience, and improve their planting and breeding levels.

The inspection group successively visited the Mashan County Yuyuan Ecological Locust Breeding Base, Guangxi Mashan County Wangyuan Ecological Agriculture Technology Co., Ltd. (Wangyuan Bamboo Rat Nawang Breeding Base), and Longteng Planting Professional Cooperative. After the base heads introduced the basic situation of the breeding and planting projects, the women discussed and studied with the heads around investment standards, infrastructure, economic benefits, and other aspects, and had in-depth exchanges on how to start businesses and develop.

After on-site visits and inspections, farming locusts and bamboo rats is "low-cost, low-risk, short-cycle, and quick-benefit." Many capable women already had ideas, saying that they would not only raise them themselves, but also encourage relatives and friends to raise them, so as to develop the local breeding industry.
