Weining Village in Dongping Town Paves a Road to Prosperity for Villagers

Weining Village is more than twenty kilometers from Dongping Town, but with high mountains, steep slopes, many bends and a long route, and poor road surface conditions, it was passable in dry weather but blocked by rain, causing inconvenience and high costs for villagers transporting goods, and becoming a bottleneck for Weining Village's path to prosperity.
2016 is a crucial year for entering the critical stage of poverty alleviation. Today's poverty alleviation must change its approach, turning "blood transfusion" into "blood creation," and the village access road is the "blood vessel." Dongping Town decided to harden the 10.2-kilometer village road from Liangping to Weining (the main line runs from Liangping to the Weining Village Public Office, 7.2 kilometers long and 4.5 meters wide; the branch line runs from the Weining Village Public Office fork to Weining Liangzi She, 3 kilometers long and 3.5 meters wide).
Starting from July 27, the road was officially closed for construction on the Weining hardening section. The transport of building materials for dangerous house renovation was affected to some extent, but the village committee and the village-stationed work team coordinated, and most building materials were prepared before the road closure.
Road hardening is expected to be completed by October 22, with a road maintenance period of 20 days. If construction proceeds smoothly, the road will open to traffic on November 12.
To let Weining villagers walk on a smooth "road to prosperity" as soon as possible, the workers are stepping up construction.
