These wild grasses are highly valuable and widely useful, so stop throwing them away
People who grew up in the countryside are not unfamiliar with these grasses at all, but for those who have always lived in the city, they cannot even name these wild grasses, let alone know their uses. Don't throw away these wild grasses, they can be of great use.
Goosegrass. It can often be seen in rural fields. This grass likes to grow in fields and compete with crops for nutrients. Farmers sometimes like to use goosegrass to fight crickets. In fact, many people do not know that goosegrass is a very good medicinal herb. Taking it boiled in water year-round can resist the poison of plagues.
Plantain. In some places, people like to call plantain "cow tongue grass", perhaps because its leaves look quite like a cow's tongue. This grass can often be seen around farmers' houses. Most farmers will not remove it when they see it, because it has great uses. Plantain is a delicious food; whether served cold, stir-fried, or used as filling, it tastes excellent. It also has the miraculous effect of stopping bleeding and disinfecting.
Barnyard grass. Farmers who have planted rice all know that barnyard grass is the grass that gives farmers the biggest headache. It is the predecessor of the rice people plant today. It can be said that what people ate in the past was barnyard grass. Since we discovered rice, barnyard grass seems to have become the natural enemy of rice, insistently growing in rice fields to compete for nutrients. In fact, barnyard grass is not as bad as imagined. It also has its own nutritional value; for example, it can stop bleeding, and its seedlings can be used as medicine.
Thistle. Thistle has been harming farmland for more than a day or two. Although the flowers of thistle are very beautiful, its roots are especially long. Thistle has strong vitality, and its roots go deep into the ground. To remove it, it must be removed by hand, and because its leaves have thorns, gloves must be worn when removing it. But unexpectedly, it can actually treat wound bleeding.
