There are many specialty planting projects, and there is always one waiting for you to try

With the development of agricultural modernization, there are also many planting projects in rural areas that can help farmers get rich. Farmer friends can grow some products with high economic returns. Below are some planting projects recommended for reference.

Flowers

According to market surveys, roses are the best-selling flower variety on the fresh flower market. A small flower shop of just over ten to twenty sq m can sell 200,000 rose stems in a year. When growing roses in greenhouses, 4,500 rose plants can be planted per mu. They can produce 4 to 5 crops a year, with an annual output of 70,000 to 80,000 stems and a net income of about 25,000 yuan.

Medicinal herbs

Take the tree-form four-season honeysuckle (Japanese honeysuckle) seedlings as an example. They are easy to manage, easy to harvest, high-yielding, and the tree can live for as long as 40 years. With good management, this variety can produce 20 to 30 kg of dried flowers per mu in the same year. In the full-production period, more than 200 kg of dried honeysuckle can be harvested per mu, with an annual income of more than 10,000 yuan. Of course, if farmer friends want to grow it, they can learn more about the cultivation techniques for this honeysuckle.

Chinese toon sprouts

Chinese toon sprouts from the tree are very delicious, but the season is very short, and they can only be eaten during one or two weeks in spring. If a Chinese toon sprout variety that can be cultivated all year round could be developed, it would certainly be welcomed by customers. Nowadays, Chinese toon sprouts can also be grown in greenhouses. A specialized grower who became rich by growing Chinese toon sprouts now produces 700-800 trays of Chinese toon sprouts every day, and demand still exceeds supply. The profit per tray is more than ten yuan, and the returns are very significant.

American ginseng

American ginseng was successfully introduced and cultivated in China and promoted on a trial basis nationwide, producing about 220 kg of dried product per hectare, with returns of tens of thousands of yuan.
