A tiny fig worth ten thousand yuan per mu

Recently, at the fig cultivation base in Tiandu Village, Xingyi, Shuishui Township, Xinjin County, Sichuan Province, more than 40 mu of figs were nearing maturity, with green-skinned and red-skinned fruits hanging all over the branches, making one's mouth water. Picking one and gently tearing open the thin skin, the peach-pink flesh is soft and sweet, melting in the mouth.

Bai Zhixiang is the first farmer in Tiandu Village to grow figs, and currently grows more than 170 mu of figs. According to him, figs have extremely high nutritional and medicinal value, and their economic benefits are very remarkable, with the output value generally around ten thousand yuan per mu.

Now, Bai Zhixiang's figs are fruiting continuously and ripening one after another, from the early fruits ripening in early July to the late fruits dropping at the end of December, with a harvest period of up to a hundred days. Under Bai Zhixiang's guidance, the people around him also began to take the path of growing figs to increase their income. Villager Yang Changming is one of them. Having already grown figs for 3 years, he is busy among the trees, and seeing the bumper harvest of figs, he is very happy, because growing figs has also changed his life: "In the past, one mu of grain brought in more than 1000 yuan, but now growing figs can bring in more than 10000 yuan per mu, a 10-fold difference!"

According to Bai Zhixiang, he hopes that by promoting fig cultivation, further improving deep processing, and building up the reputation of figs, he can achieve better development, make figs a fruit of prosperity for the villagers, and drive more farmers to increase their income and become prosperous.
