Rural property ownership certificate application process

The property ownership certificate is the document by which a home buyer obtains lawful ownership of a house through a transaction and may, in accordance with the law, exercise the rights of possession, use, income and disposal over the purchased house. It is the lawful proof by which the state protects house ownership in accordance with the law, and the house owner manages and uses their own house on the strength of the certificate. Now let us take a look at the rural property ownership certificate application process!

Can rural houses obtain a property ownership certificate?

Rural houses can obtain a property ownership certificate. The key issue in whether a rural home can receive a house ownership certificate is not the household registration, but whether there is a rural homestead use right certificate. According to the provisions of the Land Law, the authority to approve rural homesteads lies with the county-level people's government, so only after approval by the county-level government and the issuance of a homestead use right certificate can a house ownership certificate be obtained in accordance with the law. Although rural residential houses use rural collective land, a house built on a homestead approved only by the collective economic organization (village committee) occupies land illegally and cannot obtain a house ownership certificate, and a house built on private plots or contracted land can even less obtain a house ownership certificate.
