How can agricultural enterprises break through?

On June 19, the second day of the 11th AWA (Big Winner): China Charm Whole-Industry Development Forum, hosted by the School of Agricultural Economics and Rural Development at Renmin University of China, got underway. He said that future business organizations will no longer be companies plus employees, but platforms plus individuals. Large companies are splitting into large platforms, and small companies will become part of a platform. Individuals do not necessarily have to be employed by a certain company or organization; relying on a platform will be a new path for individuals to pursue career development in the future. In addition, he believes that the biggest opportunity in the era of the industrial internet lies in agricultural enterprises.

Gu Shansong, head of the Strategy Department and Research Department of COFCO Group, gave a speech titled "Mergers and Acquisitions: COFCO Group's Internationalization Solutions." Gu Shansong introduced that an enterprise's internationalization strategy must meet its own development needs and is also something that comes naturally through long-term cooperation, rather than simply thinking about going international because one has money. In addition, he shared relevant solutions based on the actual situation of COFCO Group.

Zeng Hao, President of Beijing Sunlon Livestock Development Co., Ltd., gave a speech titled "Strategic Layout and Reflections on Sunlon Livestock Under the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Coordinated Development." He said that during the 13th Five-Year Plan period, Sunlon Group will place more emphasis on cooperative innovation, win-win sharing, international markets and so on, and build a landmark modern agricultural industry group for the capital.

Ren Zelin, Chairman of Beijing Enhalor Biotechnology Co., Ltd., shared "Reflections on Innovation in Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises." What is technological innovation? Ren Zelin said that the first thing is persistence. From its founding to the launch of Babao Pig, Enhalor went through many tests but always persisted. In addition, he said that innovation must also be achievable, have a future, have value and have talent.

Wang Sangui, doctoral supervisor at the School of Agricultural Economics and Rural Development at Renmin University of China and head of the National Targeted Poverty Alleviation Research Group, introduced "Targeted Poverty Alleviation Through Industry: Solutions for Agricultural Enterprises Participating in Targeted Poverty Alleviation." He introduced that industrial poverty alleviation is the main thrust of targeted poverty alleviation. Among the "five batches" assistance methods, industrial assistance bears the largest poverty reduction task. Enterprises are the main body of targeted poverty alleviation through industry, enabling poor households to enter the industrial system led by new types of business entities.
