Greenhouse wood ear mushrooms enter peak production season, Qianjin Farm welcomes a bumper harvest
Qianjin Farm made secondary use of idle rice seedling greenhouses to support 4 low-income employees in growing wood ear mushrooms, and the autumn wood ear mushrooms have now entered peak production season.
In response to the reality that low-income households lack funds and labor, the farm adopted the approach of “the farm funds the purchase of ancillary supporting facilities, pays for water and electricity, and provides labor, while growers pay for the mushroom logs, and the income goes to the growers” to provide support. Party members and cadres across the farm provided free labor throughout the entire process, and technical staff from the forestry section provided technical guidance and training, with buyback after autumn at a price of 70 yuan per jin. It is estimated that each grower will earn a net income of 20,000 yuan per greenhouse, generating a total economic benefit of 440,000 yuan.
