From October 3 to 6, the China UAV and Robot Application Competition will officially kick off at the Nanchang Xixia National Modern Agriculture Demonstration Zone, with plant protection UAV enterprises from twenty-three well-known domestic brands and five outstanding educational robot enterprises gathering in Nanchang. They present a festive gift for the 67th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, and also offer local residents a festive feast of science and technology.

China's independently developed plant protection UAVs are already in a world-leading position. The UAV and robot manufacturers participating this time are all high-tech enterprises with independent intellectual property rights. The competition organizing committee invited top domestic industry experts as judges. The plant protection UAV experts include: He Xiongkui, Lan Yubin, Xue Xinyu, and others; the educational robot experts include: Pei Chunli, Li Liwen, Zhang Sen, and others.

This preliminary round is divided into the plant protection UAV group and the educational robot group. The plant protection UAV group will conduct on-site operation demonstrations based on multi-rotor and single-rotor agricultural UAVs, and assess multiple indicators of the plant protection UAVs' operational capability through testing instruments; the winners advance to the finals. The educational robot group competition will assess contestants' comprehensive ability to apply knowledge related to operating intelligent robots through humanoid robot simulated stage performances, improving students' hands-on ability and artistic cultivation.

The China UAV and Robot Application Competition is jointly hosted by the China Agricultural Film and Television Center (CCTV-7 agricultural programs) and China Agricultural University. With the theme of "Innovative Technology, Creating Miracles," the competition aims to showcase product achievements, promote technical exchange and discussion, select and train a group of outstanding innovative enterprises and innovative talents through challenging and practical UAV and robot application competitions, promote the practical application of UAVs and robots in China and the improvement of independent innovation technology, and drive the development of China's intelligent equipment manufacturing.

The competition portion of this event consists of six parts: the "UAV Film and Television Aerial Photography Works Competition," the "UAV Film and Television Aerial Photography On-site Prompted Competition," the "Agricultural Plant Protection UAV Application Competition," the "UAV and Robot Innovation and Entrepreneurship Proposal Competition," the "DIY UAV and Robot Assembly Design Competition," and the "UAV and Aviation Knowledge Competition."
