After graduating from university in 2014, Yan Guofu started his business out of his interest in growing succulent plants and founded Ouba Horticulture Co., Ltd. At present, the company grows over a thousand kinds of succulent plants, has created a sales model covering both online and offline channels, and has annual sales of nearly one million. Over the past two years, Cixi City has reduced or exempted taxes and fees for small low-profit enterprises founded by university graduates, and has included online entrepreneurial groups in policy categories such as small guaranteed startup loans, social security subsidies for entrepreneurs, and one-time startup grants.
