China's first multifunctional horticultural machine unveiled, capable of applying solid fertilizer and processing residual plant residues

?Recently, China's first multifunctional machine for horticultural solid fertilizer application and residual plant residue processing made its official debut at the Jiangsu Province High-Efficiency Facility Agriculture Mechanization On-Site Meeting. The machine was newly developed by the Biomass Conversion and Utilization Equipment Innovation Team of the Nanjing Institute of Agricultural Mechanization under the Ministry of Agriculture, achieving breakthroughs in three key technologies: uniform spreading of solid fertilizer in facility greenhouses, trench application and soil covering of solid fertilizer in orchards, and chopping and collection/transport of horticultural residual plant residues. It effectively improves the efficiency and quality of organic fertilizer and manure application in vegetable greenhouses and orchards, reaching the domestic leading level.
