This is the first domestic insect virus insecticide company to be listed on the New Third Board, which means the company's flagship biopesticide products will receive stronger financial support.
It is understood that Xinlong Biotechnology was jointly established with the Wuhan Institute of Virology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and possesses the largest-scale insect virus production base in China. Its flagship product, the Mamestra brassicae nucleopolyhedrovirus insecticide, is a patented product with independent intellectual property rights, has obtained EU organic certification, and has been listed by the National Agricultural Technology Extension and Service Center as a key promoted product. Company Chairman Hu Xiujun stated that listing on the New Third Board brings a great development opportunity for Xinlong Biotechnology, and the company will serve agriculture with higher-quality products. In the future, efforts will be focused on expanding the scope of use of the Mamestra brassicae nucleopolyhedrovirus insecticide, developing more formulations such as water-dispersible granules, granules, broadcast formulations, and aerial spray formulations, and strengthening research on developing foliar fertilizers using insect residues.
