On June 28, members of a "Hahaqiang" opera troupe perform in Zhongwangxiao Village, Longdian Township, Wuyi County, Hebei.

??? "Hahaqiang" is a local opera form popular in Baoding, Cangzhou, Hengshui and other areas of Hebei, and its performances mostly feature historical stories that promote traditional virtues. In 1980, Di Xingfeng, a farmer from Zhongwangxiao Village in Longdian Township and the fourth-generation inheritor of Hengshui Wuyi "Hahaqiang", founded a "Hahaqiang" opera troupe. The troupe currently has more than 50 members, all of whom are nearby villagers. Whenever festivals come around, the troupe gives traditional "Hahaqiang" performances for their neighbors and fellow villagers, using rural stages to carry on the local opera culture. ? ?
