Monitoring data shows that peanut prices remained basically stable this week, but prices in a few areas were relatively low, thereby dragging down the market average; the dryness of peanuts has improved somewhat, with peanuts in most producing areas already sun-dried to a relatively good degree of dryness, more inquiries and orders have appeared, purchasers are also relatively active, overall supply volume has increased somewhat, and the market outlook is relatively positive.

Peanuts, as a “landmark-level” agricultural product of Fuxin, have ranked first in Liaoning Province in output since 2009, accounting for 33.6% of the province's planting area. All 65 townships across the city grow peanuts, among which 43 townships have more than 10,000 mu and 23 townships have more than 30,000 mu. Peanuts have become the city's second-largest main crop. Up to now, more than 10,000 farming households across the city have been engaged in primary peanut shelling and processing, two peanut deep-processing enterprises have been built across the city, and three peanut deep-processing enterprises are under construction or newly built. According to forecasts by staff at the Municipal Agricultural Committee Information Center, because Liaoning had a bumper peanut harvest this year, overall market supply will be higher than in previous years, and peanut market demand in the Fuxin area will also increase somewhat. However, affected by rainy and snowy weather, peanut market prices have fluctuated slightly. Peanut prices will continue to maintain a steady upward trend, and peanut kernel prices are expected to maintain steady increases.
