How can the "one farmer fighting alone" model be changed? Liang Qingyan gives the answer
"Walking into the Lvzhiyuan Ecological Farm, you can admire flowers in spring, summer, autumn and winter, pick and taste fruits and vegetables all year round, and enjoy recreation 365 days a year. Tourists can both sightsee and experience farming. It is a great place for agritourism and family trips, and a wonderful spot for leisure vacations and relaxation of body and mind." Liang Qingyan, with her crisp short hair, described the blueprint in her mind. She said that currently, in cooperation with Yangshan County Lvyuan Agricultural Products Development Co., Ltd., she is building the "Lvzhiyuan" ecological leisure and sightseeing farm, and through the "company + cooperative + base + farmer household" production and operation model, creating rural leisure tourism that satisfies out-of-town visitors' weekend trips with one-stop "eat, stay, play" services.

Returning home to start a business, learning planting, and establishing an off-season vegetable base
In 2007, Liang Qingyan set her sights on the development prospects of agriculture, resigned from a generous salary to return home and start a business, and decided to take the road to prosperity through agriculture by using her hometown's idle fertile land and ecological advantages of clear mountains and waters, suitable rainfall and mild climate.
Liang Qingyan said: "Since I have decided to go into agriculture, I must change the traditional model and develop large-scale industrialization." In 2009, Liang Qingyan leased 50 mu of land to plant off-season vegetables. To better develop off-season vegetables, she made full use of distance education to learn agricultural planting techniques, followed current affairs information, and studied knowledge such as soil pH control technology, vegetable pharmacology, business management strategies, and market demand analysis. She continuously worked hard on the name, quality and special characteristics of products, expanded excellent varieties, and built a distinctive brand.
After two years of development and practical experience, the off-season vegetable base increased from the original 50 mu to 100 mu. At the same time, more than 600 mu of mountain land was developed for the high-quality camellia oil industry, and in 2011 the Yangshan County Dalang Town Quanfeng Camellia Cooperative was registered and established, creating a comprehensive planting base with off-season vegetables and high-yield camellia as the leading varieties and integrating planting and sales, achieving large-scale production, with cumulative annual output value reaching more than 6 million yuan.
"Company + cooperative + base + farmer household," changing farmers' "one farmer fighting alone"
Under Liang Qingyan's leadership, the Quanfeng Camellia Cooperative has gradually matured and its scale has gradually expanded. To date, it has successfully attracted 117 people to join the cooperative to "join forces for prosperity," with more than 300 mu of off-season vegetable planting base and more than 1,000 mu of camellia. Through the "company + cooperative + base + farmer household" production and operation model, it has driven 524 surrounding planting households, changed farmers' "one farmer fighting alone," formed a community of "shared risks and shared benefits," and driven more than 500 farmer households to develop and prosper.
Zhang Guoqiang originally relied only on farming a few mu of land for self-sufficiency and to support 3 children's schooling, and his life once fell into difficulty. In 2011, Zhang Guoqiang joined the cooperative and used the few mu of land at home to grow watercress. Through the cooperative's free technical guidance, plus his own efforts, he expanded watercress planting to 100 mu and also planted about 65 mu of camellia. At present, Zhang Guoqiang has built a 4-story building and achieved prosperity.
At the same time, Liang Qingyan also provides information technology services and agricultural product intermediary services for local small-scale growers, greatly enhancing farmers' ability to withstand market risks and effectively increasing farmers' income.
Solving the employment problem of more than 50 surrounding rural women left behind in villages
The reporter learned that at present Liang Qingyan is also cooperating with Yangshan County Lvyuan Agricultural Products Development Co., Ltd. to build the "Lvzhiyuan" ecological leisure and sightseeing farm. Through the "company + cooperative + base + farmer household" production and operation model, it creates one-stop rural leisure tourism. At the same time, giving play to a leading and demonstrative role, it hires more than 50 surrounding women to work on the farm, solving the employment problem of surrounding rural women left behind in villages.
Liang Qingyan introduced that at present, the plan is to establish within 3 years an off-season vegetable base of 600 mu and a high-quality camellia planting demonstration base of 2,000 mu, build a 1,000-mu "Lvzhiyuan" ecological leisure and agricultural sightseeing farm, continue to drive surrounding farmer households to plant off-season vegetables and high-quality camellia on a base of 3,000 mu, strive to build pollution-free food and green food brands, realize the transformation of mountainous advantages into economic advantages, and lead farmers to common prosperity.
Xie Songmei is one of them. She began harvesting watercress at the cooperative in 2011 and now also works at the "Lvzhiyuan" ecological farm. "Now I can increase my income by more than 30,000 yuan each year. If possible, I would also like to buy shares in Lvzhiyuan Farm and achieve prosperity." Xie Songmei said.
"At present, the holes for the flowers have already been dug, and planting can begin in a few days." Liang Qingyan told the reporter that Lvzhiyuan Ecological Farm is expected to trial open this autumn and officially open to the public next year. After the enterprise enters normal operation, it can drive rural tourism development and satisfy out-of-town visitors' weekend trips with one-stop "eat, stay, play" services.
