Wow, another mandarin fish weighing over a jin has taken the bait! I've fished in many ponds, and one as good as this is simply amazing! On January 9, as soon as we walked into Zhisheng Fish Pond by the Xiaohegou stream in Jiangxia District, Wuhan, Hubei, we first heard a crowd of people cheering.

Liu Zhisheng, the pond operator, is a post-90s young man. At just 26 years old, he has already become a locally well-known leader in getting rich through aquaculture. "I took up eco-friendly farming because I want everyone to eat healthily and taste quality," Liu Zhisheng said.

Liu Zhisheng is a thoughtful person. Before deciding to farm fish, he went to Wuhan and Jingzhou to study professional knowledge of aquaculture. After mastering the farming knowledge and techniques, Liu Zhisheng then gained a deep understanding of the market conditions.

For every type of fish sold, one must fully understand a whole series of issues, from fry to farming to sales, and every link must be considered thoroughly. Liu Zhisheng said, "Our fish feed is made from corn, wheat and rapeseed cake processed into crushed pellets and mixed in a certain ratio. It contains no additives at all. This is all in pursuit of fish quality, so that everyone can eat eco-friendly fish and eat healthily."

Chen Bin, who lives in Qingshan District, Wuhan, drives over to fish every three or four days. Speaking of the eco-friendly fish raised by Liu Zhisheng, he could not stop praising them: "What I value about coming here is that the fish are not fed commercial feed, the fish quality is good, and they taste especially fresh and delicious!"

Because the fish raised by Liu Zhisheng are of excellent quality, nearly 1000 jin are caught out of the pond every month before they even leave it. He hardly needs to worry about sales, and his annual income reaches 300,000 yuan. Spurred on by him, 4 partners have now joined in, opening up more than 30 mu of fish ponds for farming. More and more farmers are interested in cooperating, and the eco-friendly farming team keeps growing and developing. Liu Zhisheng leads everyone to work near their homes. Not only do they make money from fish farming, but they also tend their farmland and look after their families. With increasing returns, they have gradually set out on the road to prosperity.
