Post-90s young man returns home to start a rabbit farming business and strikes gold, becoming a prosperity expert
When the reporter met Wang Linhui, he was busy cleaning the meat rabbit pens. This post-90s college graduate from Chuangtian Village, Liuhudi Town, Manas County, chose to return to his hometown to start a business after graduation, taking up meat rabbit farming, and became a widely known prosperity expert.
In 2016, Wang Linhui, who had just graduated from university, was not in a hurry to find a job like his classmates. After careful investigation, Wang Linhui set his sights on the meat rabbit farming industry. He said: "After returning to my hometown, I saw that few people were raising rabbits, and through online research the market also looked quite promising, so I thought I'd give it a try."
With a give-it-a-try attitude, Wang Linhui borrowed money and raised funds to buy 50 breeding rabbits, throwing himself wholeheartedly into meat rabbit farming. But Wang Linhui's entrepreneurial path met with opposition from his family. Wang Linhui's father, Wang Yunjun, told the reporter: "We were very worried that the child had no social experience and seemed to lack understanding of farming."
But the stubborn Wang Linhui was set on this path. Every day he rose early and stayed up late, punctually cleaning, disinfecting and feeding the meat rabbits, pouring all his effort into meat rabbit farming. At the same time, he taught himself relevant farming experience. With a sharp mind and a down-to-earth, hardworking attitude, he successfully worked out a method for raising meat rabbits. After 8 months of careful farming, he dug up the first pot of gold on his entrepreneurial path. Wang Linhui said: "By now I have 200 breeding rabbits, and I've sold nearly 700, with a net profit of over 40,000."
Father Wang Yunjun told the reporter that seeing his child so confident and the returns so good, he was delighted from the bottom of his heart. This year he specially put out 30,000 yuan to build a 120 sq m meat rabbit pen in their own yard, to expand the farming scale and support his child's business. Wang Yunjun said: "The child is wholeheartedly devoted to it, rising early and staying up late. Expanding the farming scale supports the child's business."
Having gained his family's approval, Wang Linhui was even more motivated, and this year he plans to expand the farming scale and the number of rabbits raised. Wang Linhui told the reporter: "I want to raise one thousand or one thousand five hundred breeding rabbits, with an annual output of nearly 100,000 to 150,000, and a net profit of nearly 30 yuan per rabbit, which means a monthly income of 300,000 to 450,000. Later I want to set up a cooperative to lead the villagers to prosperity together."
