Tancheng poverty-alleviation greenhouses help farmers increase income and get rich

Ni Zida and Ma Baishun, the "First Secretaries" dispatched by Linyi City to Guanzhu Village, Guichang Township, Tancheng County, focused on the main thread of industrial poverty alleviation, used more than 1.2 million yuan of higher-level assistance funds, transferred 55 mu of land, and built 14 winter-warm greenhouse sheds. The construction, management and melon seedling technology of the greenhouses drew on greenhouse technology from Shouguang; the technology is advanced, and they mainly grow organic, green and pollution-free "Yangjiaomi" melons, which have now begun to reach the market one after another. The yield per mu is expected to reach about 7,500 kg, and the income per mu is expected to exceed 40,000 yuan, while at the same time increasing the village collective's income by 100,000 yuan each year. The products are mainly sold to Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai and other places.
