36 enterprises in Xinye sign agreements with poor villages, supporting industry, helping employment, and getting rich together

When the poverty alleviation team learned that the village mainly planted corn in autumn, but corn prices had remained sluggish, they suggested that Du Shenhai mobilize the villagers to plant sorghum in autumn, which Hanhua Liquor Co., Ltd. needed. At autumn harvest, Hanhua Liquor Co., Ltd. would purchase it openly at a price 1 yuan per kg higher than corn, which could lay a good foundation for increasing the income of Xiaqingyang Village farmers.

At the same time, Kerchin Cattle Industry Nanyang Co., Ltd., located in Waizi Town, Xinye County, is actively exploring industrial poverty alleviation through beef cattle breeding. For poor households that do not have the conditions to raise cattle, the enterprise adopts the method of shareholding and dividends, plans to help 2,000 households countywide, and has currently begun trial implementation for 420 households in 6 townships across the county. The enterprise has set up more than 20 straw purchasing stations throughout the county, purchasing wheat straw, corn stalks, peanut vines, and other materials nearby at protective prices, enabling poor households to increase income at their doorstep. In addition, according to the circumstances of poor households, the enterprise mainly absorbs more than 100 family members of poor households with labor capacity to work in processing plants, and poor households aged over 35 and under 60 work in positions at breeding farms, straw purchasing stations, agricultural machinery cooperatives, and other posts, increasing the income of poor households.

Since the implementation of the "Thousand Enterprises Help Thousand Villages" activity, Xinye County has made comprehensive arrangements and advanced solidly, established a leading group for the activity of enterprises helping rural areas escape poverty, regularly organized business training and exchange discussions, established information-sharing platforms such as the "Enterprise Assistance to Rural Poverty Alleviation" WeChat group, and actively implemented various preferential policies and incentive measures for enterprises participating in poverty alleviation. The County Poverty Alleviation Office and the County Industry and Information Technology Bureau identified 36 enterprises with strong social responsibility and economic strength to carry out one-to-one signed pairing assistance for 34 poor villages and 2 non-poor villages in 13 townships. At present, all assisting enterprises have gone deep into their respective poor villages to complete work coordination.
