Hear the pig farmer tell his story of getting rich by raising pigs
From going out to work in his early years, to later returning to the village to farm, and then to becoming a pig farmer in Yongfeng Village. With his indomitable perseverance and pioneering and innovative spirit, Tian Yongchao went from losing everything on a 140,000 yuan loan to later leading the whole village in pig farming and the breeding industry to prosperity together. Tian Yongchao demonstrated the advanced character of a Communist Party member and village cadre, and fully gave play to the exemplary and leading role of a Party member cadre.
Tian Yongchao is an ordinary villager in Yongfeng Village, Longbei Town. In his earlier years, he worked with his wife in Shenzhen. In 2008, he returned to the village and began farming, becoming a plain farmer. But as a "gold digger" who had been out in the world for many years, he was not satisfied. In 2011, he set his sights on the rural pig breeding industry. Everything is hard at the beginning; the 200 pigs bought with a 140,000 yuan loan all died from an epidemic, and he lost everything.
Facing the disappointed looks of his family and the persuasion of his neighbors, Tian Yongchao did not give up his choice. Through continuous exchange and learning with feed companies and veterinary drug companies, and by constantly summarizing breeding experience, from the smallest feed ratios to extensive study of epidemic prevention and disease sources for pigs, he gradually worked out his own method of raising pigs.

Keeping them alive is easy, but raising them well is hard. Tian Yongchao put his mind into pig health care. He renovated the environment where the pigs lived and introduced advanced watering devices to solve water source pollution. To solve climate problems, he installed underfloor heating in the pig pens. At the same time, because high summer temperatures can easily cause pigs to develop fevers and breathing problems, the early ceiling fans could not lower the temperature and could not solve the root problem. Through inquiries from many sources, he replaced the ceiling fans with ecological water-curtain air conditioning, which not only saved costs but also reduced his spending.

Today, Tian Yongchao's pig farm is already quite large in scale, with an annual slaughter of more than 1,800 pigs, annual income reaching more than 200,000 yuan, and it has developed into a fairly large-scale family farm-style breeding operation. While doing a good job in pig farming, Tian Yongchao is also actively willing to help other breeders in the village. Other breeders in the village often come to him to learn, and he is also happy to share his experience, leading everyone to prosperity together.

In addition to leading the people to prosperity, Tian Yongchao keeps his mission as a public servant firmly in mind. As director of public security, he also undertakes a great deal of extra work. From taking the initiative to participate in pumping and draining water from roads during the rainy season to solve the problem of difficult travel for the people, to paying out of his own pocket to solve farmland irrigation problems, Tian Yongchao has always practiced the commitment of a Communist Party member. In 2014, he was rated as an expert in getting rich through science and technology by the town Party committee, and was rated as an excellent Communist Party member for two consecutive years.
