Fan Jianwu previously ran an automobile trade business away from home for many years. Because he loved learning, had a nimble mind, and was good at business, and also encountered the central government's good policies, in just a few years he stood out uniquely among peers in the city's same industry, doing remarkably well, and became the first farmer in Fanjiachuan Village to go to the city to start a business and achieve brilliant results.

Each greenhouse earned more than 30,000 yuan, and the cost was recovered in two years. Afterwards, Fan Jianwu actively mobilized the masses and expanded the area year by year. By the end of 2012, the whole village had developed more than 200 greenhouses. In 2012, based on the village's actual conditions, Fan Jianwu positioned the village to follow the path of a modern agriculture park. First, a cooperative was established, and all of the village's more than 5,000 mu of land was transferred. Through raising more than 10 million yuan in funds from multiple sources, and with him also advancing more than 1 million yuan of his own money, the funding problem for the transferred land was solved. Hard work pays off. In August 2013, the Longshou Modern Agriculture Park was named the fourth batch of provincial-level modern agriculture parks in the province. Fan Jianwu divided the park into six major functional zones for development: the crisp pear zone, the protected fruit and vegetable zone, the seedling breeding zone, the market trading zone, the livestock breeding zone, and the Longshou Dam scenic area. He increased capital investment, improved infrastructure, and continuously adjusted the industrial structure. He also subsidized the masses 150 yuan per mu for crisp pears and 40,000 yuan for each protected greenhouse developed, which aroused the enthusiasm of the masses, expanded the park's crisp pear area from the original 800 mu to 3,500 mu, and developed more than 300 greenhouses in the park, powerfully driving the park's modern agricultural development. After obtaining a secondary specialized school diploma from the Central Agricultural Broadcasting and Television School, he also obtained a continuing education college diploma and professional technical titles of technician and agronomist.
