Yunlin's Scenic Beauty Takes the Stage: Caoling Landscape Center Unveiled on the 21st

Under the joint efforts of the Forestry Bureau of the Council of Agriculture, Executive Yuan, the Yunlin County Government and the Gukeng Township Office, the Caoling Landscape Center held its unveiling ceremony yesterday (1/21). The plan to establish a landscape center at the Caoling Visitor Information Center aims to provide local residents and outside visitors with a platform for learning about Caoling's landscapes, and to establish a base for promoting landscape tourism in Caoling, in the hope of enhancing the depth and breadth of visitors' sightseeing experience.

At this unveiling ceremony, in addition to inviting geological expert Wang Wen-cheng, a professor in the Department of Geography at National Taiwan Normal University, to introduce Caoling's unique geology and landscapes, a guided tour of the center was also conducted by interpreters, allowing attendees to appreciate the beauty of Caoling through the center.

Deputy Magistrate Hsieh Shu-ya stated that Gukeng possesses excellent natural conditions, with beautiful scenery, geology, ecology and produce, making it a wonderful place to visit and enjoy. She hopes that the establishment of this landscape center will further enhance the depth of tourism in Caoling, bringing more visitors to Yunlin to admire its beauty.

Gukeng Township Mayor Shen Sheng-teng stated that with the official opening of the landscape center, in addition to displaying rich geological content, it is also hoped that through detailed interpretation, first-time visitors can better understand Caoling, and returning travelers will grow even fonder of this rapidly changing treasure trove of landscapes.
