Lavender cultivation can bring considerable income to small growers. Fresh flowers are sold in bundles or used to make lavender oil, and dried bouquets are sold to florists and hobbyists for dried arrangements and wreaths. Harvested lavender is also used to manufacture dozens of value-added products, from dried buds to aromatherapy products, skincare products, sachets and herbal pillows. All of these are easy to make and appeal to consumers who love the scent of lavender. That is the beauty of lavender - unlike other perishable crops, nothing goes to waste, and there are profits all year round.

Lavender planting:
1. Before planting lavender seeds, soak them in water for a day first; this will make the seeds sprout earlier.
2. Lavender likes well-drained soil, does not like damp areas, and likes sunlight, so the planting area must meet these points. Scatter the lavender seeds on the planting land, then sprinkle soil over them to cover them; the covering height should not be too high, about 2cm-3cm is fine.
3. Watering and fertilizing: do not water if the soil is not dry; during the growing season, you can fertilize once every half month.

4. Lavender is an easy plant to grow; as long as you give the plant well-drained soil, since it hates wet feet, it is very disease-free.
When lavender planting area expands to 7 acres, it also has dozens of value-added products, such as lavender soap and potted lavender plants, and its annual income exceeds one million US dollars! Lavender is a long-lasting herb, with a lifespan above ground of 12  -  15 years. New plants are usually produced from cuttings, so it is easy to replace old plants, expand the planting area, or produce lavender plants to sell for almost nothing. In addition, because lavender dries easily, it can be used all year round to make value-added products, not just during the growing season.
