High-Heel Church holds year-end New Year's Eve event press conference

The press conference for the High-Heel Church year-end New Year's Eve event was held on the 27th at the High-Heel Church in Budai Township, Chiayi County. The ceremony was hosted by Chiayi County Magistrate Weng Chang-liang, Yunlin-Chiayi-Tainan Coastal National Scenic Area Administration Director Hsu Chen-neng, Budai Township Chief Chen Feng-mei, and local figures together, hoping that through this project they can bring the public a brand-new New Year's Eve experience and set off another tourism peak for the High-Heel Church.

The 2018 Budai High-Heel Church New Year's Eve project runs from December 29 to New Year's Eve on December 31, inviting the public to play from morning to night for three consecutive days; during the day there are a joyful market, a castle playground, and a Cinderella AR interactive experience, while in the evening there is the High-Heel Church's illuminated night view paired with the deeply resonant "Cinderella Doesn't Lose Her Glass Slipper" musical, allowing everyone to feel full of warmth at the end of this year and welcome the arrival of 2019 with abundant energy.

The "Cinderella Doesn't Lose Her Glass Slipper" musical requires a ticket for entry, and the event also specially gives back to local residents: anyone registered as a resident of Chiayi County or Chiayi City who shows their ID card before purchasing a ticket can enjoy a 30% discount, and the ticket includes 100 yuan of spending in the park.

Extending the New Year's Eve energy to the end of February 2019, the Yunlin-Chiayi-Tainan Coastal National Scenic Area Administration has also specially cooperated with Japan's SIG projection mapping company to introduce a dome cinema, allowing the public to lie on the grass at the High-Heel Church and enjoy films from a 360-degree perspective. The public is asked to look forward to it.

Magistrate Weng Chang-liang emphasized that developing Chiayi County's tourist attractions is an unshirkable task for the county government, and in the future longer-term plans will also be devised to assist local development.
