Snow falls in Pingtung! Pink Christmas party romance overload

The 2018 Pingtung Christmas is super pink and super romantic! The Pingtung County Government brought in the trendiest pink storm, dressing up the century-old Pingtung Park as a "Pink Christmas" feast. More than 10 sets of special light installations plus a carousel are set up in the park, and the romance index is off the charts. On December 23 and 24, Christmas Eve, it even snowed winter snow for the first time ever, setting off a craze from southern Taiwan.

On the evening of December 23, before Christmas, County Magistrate Pan Meng-an transformed into Santa Claus, delivering good tidings and handing out small candies on the snowflake-filled Coconut Tree Avenue, hoping to bring the people of Pingtung a romantic night. Pingtung, located in the subtropics, is like spring all year round, and even in winter the sun is still proud and bright. This year the Pingtung County Government specially brought out snow machines to create a winter snow-country scene and celebrate together with the public! On Christmas Eve, December 24, from 17:30 to 21:30, there will still be snow activities. The public is invited to seize the chance to experience the snowy pink Christmas together!

This year's Pingtung Christmas features "Pink Christmas" as its main theme. The biggest surprise is that a pink carousel has been brought in this year. During the event, the public can ride it simply by showing the stub of the Congbao mini train ticket. Light installations designed in pink macaron colors, pink snowflake lights, sparkling bells and more envelop the park in a dreamy, soft pink atmosphere, melting hearts with happiness. Amid the joyful Christmas, tender pink hues awaken the original heart that yearns for happiness.

The Pingtung Christmas will be on display until March 3 next year in conjunction with the Taiwan Lantern Festival, with lights illuminated every night from 17:30 to 22:00.
