New Taipei City Yingge Ceramics Museum's "18th Bash" Museum Anniversary Celebration Rocks for Three Consecutive Weeks
Do you remember how you partied on your 18th birthday? The New Taipei City Yingge Ceramics Museum turns 18 this year too! To let those who have supported ceramic art over the years join in this grand event, the three-week anniversary celebration has everything - food, drink, fun and entertainment. Everyone is welcome to come wish the museum a happy birthday.
The Yingge Ceramics Museum, under the New Taipei City Cultural Affairs Department, is holding the "18th Bash! Ceramics Museum 18th Anniversary Celebration" series of events on weekends in December; on 12/1 (Sat) and 12/2 (Sun) from 11:00-12:00 and 14:00-16:00, the "3rd International Tea Ceremony Aesthetics Design Competition Selected Works Tea Seating Event" will be held in the 1st floor lobby. On 12/9 (Sun) at 14:00 and 15:00, the internationally renowned "Bell Walker Art Troupe" is invited to perform diabolo. On 12/15 (Sat) from 14:30-16:30, winter solstice tangyuan (glutinous rice balls) will be served at the Wind Plaza of the Ceramics Art Park, along with a live performance by the folk song group "Listening to You Over There." With three consecutive weekends of anniversary events featuring drinks, performances, food and music, everyone is encouraged to enthusiastically join the Ceramics Museum's 18th birthday party.
The "3rd International Tea Ceremony Aesthetics Design Competition Selected Works Tea Seating Event" has a total of 10 seats. The selected participants will demonstrate tea seating on site and brew tea to share with the public. Those who wish to participate only need to purchase a 60-yuan exclusive teacup on the day to freely take a seat and enjoy tea. The internationally renowned "Bell Walker Art Troupe" is a local performance group from Yingge. They have won the diabolo group category at the National Games folk sports competition 5 times in a row. They have not only performed in Europe multiple times but also appeared on the famous show "America's Got Talent" - a performance not to be missed. As the anniversary celebration falls just before the winter solstice, volunteers from Yingge's Funan Temple are invited to prepare savory and sweet tangyuan. Attendees only need to purchase a 50-yuan Yingge old-style bowl on site to freely help themselves, while supplies last. At the same time, the creative folk song group "Listening to You Over There" will perform for 2 hours straight, letting all participants eat while listening to music and enjoy a wonderful afternoon.
