The Forestry Bureau's satoyama animal calendar is super cute, limited sale at the Huashan Cultural and Creative Park's "Mountain Products Store"
Pheasant-tailed jacanas, grass owls, crested serpent eagles, as well as the Chinese bulbuls and crested goshawks commonly seen even in cities - many bird species soar across the skies of Taiwan, China; Reeves's muntjacs, leopard cats, masked palm civets, otters and others - these mammals hidden in the shallow mountains are in fact very closely connected to people's lives.
The Forestry Bureau has launched the 108th year (2019) "Satoyama Animal Calendar," hoping to help the public better understand the various species living around them and to encourage attention to and practice of environmental sustainability. The limited-edition calendar goes on sale at 1 p.m. on December 1 at the "Mountain Products Store" in the Huashan Cultural and Creative Park, priced at 250 yuan each, with a 21% discount on the first day of sale.
