Still troubled by powdery mildew on cucumbers? The Tcb43 strain achieves a 60% control rate, and it also works on muskmelon and red dragon fruit

Cucumbers and muskmelons are deeply loved by people, but they are severely threatened by powdery mildew. In addition, because they are continuously harvested crops, no pesticides can be applied during the harvest period, which affects yield and quality. The Taichung District Agricultural Research and Extension Station (referred to as the Taichung Station) of the Council of Agriculture has developed a microbial formulation, the "Bacillus amyloliquefaciens Tcb43 strain," which can be applied during the harvest period and achieves a control rate of more than 60%. It is expected to be transferred for commercial production within two years.
