Agreement with food suppliers: Xinshe High School students eat pesticide-free ingredients

Can a school nutrition lunch costing about 35 yuan per meal include non-GMO soy products and organic vegetables? Xinshe High School in Taichung has made it happen. Teacher Hsu En-chin, who took over as lunch secretary three years ago, first required food suppliers to maintain basic quality, then increased the requirements year by year. GAP (Good Agricultural Practice) vegetables, organic vegetables, and non-GMO soy products were successively written into the contract, letting students eat healthily.
