Yunlin smallholder farmer A-Shuo's little green dream: the granary crowdfunding is underway

A-Shuo and Xiao-Lu, this couple, have been farming rice with eco-friendly methods for five years now. In past years, their yield each season was about 4,000 jin. This year, A-Shuo's father has also joined the eco-friendly farming effort, the cultivated area has increased, and the yield is estimated at 8,000 jin. The granary is not big enough to hold it all. Once the harvested and roasted rice grain has been stored at room temperature for more than three months, its texture and flavor are no longer "in season" enough.
