Food Guardian Environment Green Food Education Volunteer and Seed Instructor Training
Food safety has become an issue of great concern to people in recent years. To help more of the public understand the stories behind food and the land, and their many relationships with humanity, the Homemakers United Foundation plans to launch this summer a 2-month, 14-session "Food Guardian Environment" Green Food Education Volunteer and Seed Instructor Training course, hoping to recruit more volunteers to help the foundation promote issues related to green food education.
Date: July 15, 2014 to August 26, 2014
Time: Every Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Location: Homemakers United Foundation Environmental Protection Foundation [5F-1, No. 4, Lane 160, Section 3, Tingzhou Road, Taipei City]
Target participants:
- Members of the public interested in issues related to green food education;
- Those who identify with the foundation's philosophy and are willing to become volunteers of the foundation;
- Those willing to be trained to become green food education instructors capable of independently giving presentations, or able to assist in compiling, analysing and organising materials related to green food education issues;
- Those with spare time in the coming six months, allowing the foundation to arrange presentation sessions according to each person's schedule.
Purpose: To train volunteers to assist the foundation in promoting relevant green food education activities
Fee: For annual members of the foundation and members of the cooperative, tuition is 800 yuan, with a 500 yuan deposit, and the deposit will be refunded after the course ends for those who attend all sessions; for non-members of the foundation and non-members of the cooperative, tuition is 1500 yuan, plus a 500 yuan deposit, and the deposit will be refunded after the course ends for those who attend all sessions.

Note: Admission notices will be sent on or before July 4. Fees must be paid within 3 working days after receiving the successful admission notice; those who fail to pay will be considered to have given up. The self-funded activity portion will be collected after the course begins.
