Why can't stray dogs ever be fully rescued? Breeding farms are like purgatory, and the source is unregulated

Dog breeding farms are like purgatory, the source is unregulated, stray dogs can never be fully rescued

They eat spoiled food and live in dirty, foul-smelling spaces covered in feces, even sharing space with dog carcasses. Here, breeding females are constantly mated and bred, and the hundreds of dogs commonly suffer from skin diseases or various genetic defects. This purgatory-like place is a "legal" breeding farm in Longtan, Taoyuan - Jiajia Kennel, with legal license number "Taoyuan County Special Pet License No. 211."

A hell-like "qualified" breeding farm

Jiajia Kennel's registered address is on the third floor of a residential building, while a separate breeding farm nearby is used to provide "supply." On the third floor of the building, the operator keeps healthy breeding dogs, but to avoid protests from neighboring residents, these breeding dogs have all had their vocal cords removed. At the supply site, the operator claims to the public that the dogs there come from shelters and welcomes kind-hearted people to donate money and provide supplies. In other words, Jiajia Kennel uses legality to cover illegality, selling dogs on one hand while accepting donations and supplies on the other.

Although the breeding dogs were not implanted with microchips, the operator arbitrarily administered drugs to the animals, and there were no medical, breeding, or sales records, Jiajia Kennel still passed the government's annual inspection.

The Taiwan Animal Society Research Association and the Taoyuan County Animal Protection Promotion Association held a press conference yesterday (6/18) to point out the abuses at Jiajia Kennel. Chen Yumin, director of the animal society, said Jiajia Kennel is not an isolated case, but reflects many problems that have persisted for years, including uncontrolled dog breeding and a lack of regulation of breeding farms.
