Revitalizing Taisugar Land: Rainbow Restaurant Invites You to Taste Friendly, Good Ingredients
Taisugar is the largest landowner in Taiwan, China, but in recent years it has gradually declined and has been mocked as a spendthrift surviving by selling off land. Pingtung's "Green Farmers' Home" has been selling friendly agricultural products online for nearly 10 years. This year, it leased from Taisugar a kindergarten that had been abandoned for more than 2 years and transformed it into a shop, bookstore and restaurant, installing solar panels, an ecological pond and a water recycling system, turning the kindergarten that was originally going to be demolished into Pingtung's first green building and creating a rare case of Taisugar land revitalization. This Saturday, Rainbow Restaurant will open and invite friends and family to come taste friendly, good cuisine.
